Our Performances

The Chromatics bring their AstroCappella repertoire to a wide variety of audiences and events. Our astronomy-heavy shows can include nearly all the AstroCappella repertoire (about 45 minutes of music) or can also include other technical type songs about topics like the Internet, the science of love, the passage of time, and modern interpersonal communication. We've performed for groups of kids (elementary school age and up), teachers (pre-service and in-service), scientists (at conference banquets), and the general public (at venues from science fiction conventions to science museums and planetaria to the Kennedy Center's Millenium Stage).

The Chromatics have done numerous workshops at science teacher conventions (such as the NSTA national meeting and state science teacher meetings), and have helped to train pre-service teachers through invitations to college classrooms.
